Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that explores how you think about yourself, the world, and other people. It allows you to discover how your thoughts, feelings and behaviour interact to cause problematic patterns or cycles. CBT helps you understand what is maintaining your mental health problems and will equip you with the skills to tackle them.

CBT is an effective treatment for a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and eating disorders.

As well as being a ‘talking’ therapy, CBT is a ‘doing’ therapy and will involve you and your therapist setting practical goals for you to work on throughout your course of therapy.

Psychotherapy and counselling

Sometimes in our lives, we can find ourselves at a point where we feel we’re juggling too many balls and general day-to-day life becomes difficult to manage in the way we would do normally, which then in turn can affect our work, family life, relationships and friendships.

Feelings of depression, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, grief and more can be hard to cope with making things unclear and confusing so much so you don’t know which direction you should go.

We are true believers in ’talking it out’ as a therapy that can help guide you in the right direction with a professional therapist you can trust, on a one to one basis, confidentially, in an environment that you feel safe and without any judgement just simple respect.
